Just steps away… from Eleva!

The spring scents that enfold us, the sun that warms us and the smiles everywhere. Montreal is awakening and reveals its most beautiful assets.

Why not take advantage of the comfortable weather to go outside, breathe and set off to discover your future neighbourhood? The complex enjoys a privileged geographical location, as everything is nearby and, oftentimes, you can even reach your destination on foot. Here is the itinerary for a perfect day: a stroll to awaken the senses with a constant close eye on … Eleva.

For a coffee, a discovery or for some shopping, you should definitely start your day at the Atwater Market. Open in summer and winter since 1933, the market provides you with a unique opportunity to directly support the producers and above all, to ensure the freshness of all your food products. We recommend that you drop by the fromagerie Hamel, make a stop at the Boucherie Les Deux Frères and last, but not least, enjoy a coffee at the Brûlerie aux Quatre Vents. Oh, and why not bring back a magnificent bouquet from Chez Louisette to embellish your apartment?

Once back in the comfort of your home, after all your purchases have been stored away, take the time to rest. A relaxing stop in the panoramic lounge on the 29th floor is ideal to recharge your batteries and inspire you as you plan the rest of your day, thanks to the stunning view it offers over Downtown Montreal.

Feeling peckish at lunchtime? Hungry for a light, savoury and refined meal? A few steps away from the Eleva rental condos, on St-Catherine Street West, the Rosetti Bakery will delight your palate. You’ll be impressed by the variety and quality of their products: sandwiches, pizzas, pastries… For our part, we can’t get enough of the salmon gravlax sandwich, the pizza margherita and, for dessert, the tiramisu. In the afternoon, why not add a bit of culture and romance to your daily menu? A film that inspires hope, a soothing exhibition.

Literally in front of the Eleva complex, you’ll find an impressive movie theatre that houses 22 cinema halls inside the old Forum. Presented primarily in the language of Shakespeare, the Cinéma Cineplex Forum et VIP presents the latest new releases, and on occasion, film classics and vibrant concerts. In addition to providing you with unparalleled comfort, the VIP formula lets you enjoy a good meal or sip a cocktail without having to miss a single minute of your movie.

You’d rather immerse yourself in the works of a contemporary artist, a renowned painter or a famous artisan? Well then, you simply need to head over to the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. To get there, make your way along Crescent Street to catch a glimpse of a mural of a prominent Montreal artist who enthralled people from all over the world! Hallelujah, Mr. Cohen!

In addition to admiring its numerous temporary exhibitions, allow yourself time to explore the permanent exhibition and discover its many treasures. A visit to the sculpture garden is also a must. Located alongside the Claire and Marc Bourgie Pavilion, the garden was inaugurated in 2004 and is the site of one of the largest public art collections in Montreal. A true open-air museum.

To end this exhilarating day on a high note, nothing beats a unique dinner in good company in one of Montreal’s finest restaurants. As luck would have it, right next to the museum, two establishments are creating quite a buzz.

Directly inside the prestigious Ritz-Carlton, renowned chef Daniel Boulud welcomes you in his Quebec establishment to enjoy a seasonal cuisine showcasing regional producers. The cuisine is both refined and contemporary. One of the most well-kept secrets in town, Maison Boulud offers a unique and gourmet brunch on weekends. With a glass of bubbly, it’s an exquisite experience.

Just a few blocks away, Ristorante Beatrice is the place to go for a gastronomical journey into the heart of Italy. You will discover a refined and contemporary cuisine in an urban oasis. In the summer, its terrace nestled within a secluded garden is breathtaking. Fine palates should know that the lobster risotto is an exquisite meal, and the same goes for the cavatelli with wild mushrooms. Now doesn’t that sound mouth-watering?

After this long day, upon returning to your luxurious apartment in the Eleva complex, we bet you’ll quickly fall asleep in the arms of Morpheus.

This is just one of several possible itineraries. It’s now up to you to create your own!
